Our Story
3N1 Trinity is a business to business (to-the-trade-only) regional dealer for Heritage Landscape Supply Group, Epic Plastics, and Goldens’ Cast Iron.
3N1 Trinity is owned and operated by Truman Kemp. After decades in the hardscape and landscape business, Truman started 3N1 Trinity to supply landscape contractors in coastal South Carolina with tried and true synthetic turf products and outdoor living accessories directly from their manufacturer.
Truman graduated from the Citadel in 1963 and served our country in the United States Airforce during Vietnam. In 1966 he was assigned as Commander of Headquarters Squadron, 3rd Tactical Fighter Wing, Bien Hoa Air Base in South Vietnam. His job was to not only keep and maintain discipline, but provide morale, welfare, and recreation among the 700 men supporting the flying mission on the base. Housing was provided for 10 men to a long wooden “hut.” One of the first things he did was to introduce a design for a “rest area” on the back end of each building providing space for a patio, cooking grill. Fire pit, and pergola with seating. The idea was to give the men a place to unwind from the long hard day of work for cooking out, relaxing and fellow-shipping. The idea took hold and soon these outdoor living areas sprung up all over the cantonment area. Morale was high among the men and Truman actually received an award from the Air Force for this innovative backyard idea!
This would lead Truman to eventually start his own hardscape and outdoor business after his military career. After operating several successful hardscape and turf businesses in the Charleston area, Truman developed 3N1 Trinity to supply other contractors in the area with products that bring great aesthetics and great value to your client’s outdoor needs.
